CA Mechano does exactly what it says on the tin: it's a mechanical typeface, all caps, and dead simple to use – unless you flip on the “disorder” stylistic set. Do that and things get weird fast, in a good way for anyone who likes playing with type. The other stylistic set is the calmer option, swapping in rounded letters that sit comfortably next to the more rigid, mechanical glyphs.
The family ships in three styles – Regular, Condensed, and Wide – all built on the same mechanical skeleton. That gives you room to go tighter or wider depending on the job, which makes it a solid pick for headlines, signage, or branding where you need one consistent look across different sizes and proportions.
